This is seriously icky feeling. It looks and feels just like a regular NYT story, except for the smallish “ADVERTISING” header. The writer, Clair Atkinson, seems to have done a number of these ad supplements, all with the same look and feel. DO NOT WANT. Duh. Obviously, this is a story about advertising, not an advertisement. The “advertising” header was referring to the fact that it’s a story in the advertising section, not an ad itself. Dumbass = me. Thanks, Jason, for the correction on that one.
