The so-called gig economy is one of the more pernicious and despicable offshoots of the rise of 21st century tech. Unlike, say, disinformation and epistemological collapse, the solutions to the uberization of everything are more apparent. Better still is owning the platform outright, collectively, rather than simply being a human endpoint controlled by a corporation with billions of dollars in venture funding.
