Mike Pence (R-IN), Republican Conference Chairman, who invited Oliver North to lend his insight on America’s war in Afghanistan.

North, you may recall, was a key figure in the Iran-Contra scandal, where the Reagan administration agreed to sell weapons to Iran, which at the time was under an international arms embargo, and then funnel the proceeds of the sale to fund a Nicaraguan rebel force. North would later admit that he lied to congress and destroyed evidence.
